Stanley Fink

Lord Stanley Fink

Group Chairman

Stanley is a senior, well-known and accomplished financial services professional, with a long and diverse track record in, among others, the managed futures, brokerage and hedge fund industries.
Stanley’s illustrious career includes 9 years as CEO and Chair at ISAM Europe LLP, where he has helped the global macro hedge fund grow from a start up to managing more than $3bn. Previously he spent 21 years at Man Group Plc, as MD of the Fund Management Division, as Group CFO during IPO, and as Group CEO when Man Group joined FTSE 100 as the largest hedge fund in the world.


Julian Shaffer

Chief Executive and Founder

An entrepreneur at heart, Julian’s ‘eye for the possible’ has led him to build a social infrastructure platform that aligns investment & fund management, property origination & delivery and customer & community operations.
Over the 24 year period, Julian has brought together the best professional teams to deliver vibrant, shared ownership communities which improve the personal and financial well-being of homeowners whilst delivering secure income that meets the needs of pension funds.


Harry Samuel

Group Managing Director and CEO, AHC

An accomplished leader of significant financial institutions, Harry’s ‘eye for the probable’ ensures the group has the robust financial, operational and governance processes required to deliver sustainable growth and profitability.
He brings significant banking and capital markets expertise to AHH, previously as CEO of Royal Bank of Canada Investor and Treasury Services, which he established in 2013 and as CEO for RBC Capital Markets in Europe and Global Co-Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities.


Stephen Pateman

Director of Strategic Projects and Director, AHH Investment Management

Steve supports AHH on a number of strategic projects that are driving the growth of the business.
Prior to joining AHH, Steve led Corporate and Retail Banking businesses at RBS and Santander before becoming CEO of Shawbrook and thereafter Julian Hodge Group. He also completed a short spell as CEO of The Arora Group helping them adjust their business model to address the impact of C19. Steve is also President of the Chartered Banker Institute and is a Non-Executive Director at Bank of England.


Arlene Keenan

Chief Financial Officer

Arlene drives the financial strategies of all businesses within the group. Prior to joining AHH, Arlene held significant senior international positions where she managed numerous acquisitions and disposals: COO/CFO, Capital Markets, Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc; CFO, Ned Davis Research; Group Financial Controller, Internet Securities Inc; Audit Manager, KPMG.


Tony Spotswood

Chairman, AHC

Tony has notable public sector expertise, previously as CEO for Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, for 19 years. Tony has shaped NHS plans and policies, leading implementation of system-based working at national and regional level to establish Dorset as England’s most advanced integrated care system.

Sam Hobson

Architecture & Planning Director

Sam has overseen the design and planning of c.600 units of retirement living. Alongside negotiating with local authorities, he has achieved notable success with far-reaching community engagement campaigns, converting the Platinum Skies pipeline into successful planning consents and ensuring the Platinum Skies brand and operational model is consistent across all built environments.


Oliver Hunter

Design, Build & Procurement Director

Oliver leads the construction team on all developments and facilitates externally delivered schemes through franchise developer operators delivering to quality, time and cost. Oliver brings 22 years’ experience from large multinational and mission critical manufacturing businesses –Rolls-Royce, Land Rover, PA Consulting – having directed multisite and multinational operations.


Mark Dunne

Chief Marketing Officer and New Product Director

Mark brings creativity and marketing expertise to the group, helping to design and build Platinum Skies and Quantum products around the needs of the customer, creating unique value-added propositions. Previously, Mark was Head of Brand Marketing at the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, responsible for the international charity’s fundraising and lifesaving campaigns.


Mark Edwards

Group Marketing Director and Co-Managing Director, Platinum Skies

Mark is a market maker with an obsession for customers. He is an expert in taking products and services to market, creating customer experiences that drive commercial results. Mark owns the customer and their purchase journey, setting the data and digital strategy to acquire and nurture customers. He has 20+ years’ experience delivering growth for FTSE 100 retail companies and global organisations.


James Davies

Group Sales Director and Co-Managing Director, Platinum Skies

James drives all sales activity across the property marketplace, leading the teams who deliver the customer proposition – sales, progression, conveyancing and resales, ensuring the customer journey is first-class from initial contact through to the customer moving into their new home. An executive level professional with a track record of building propositions and relationships in the financial services, property and IT sectors.


David Hines

Executive Chairman, Platinum Skies

David has considerable residential development and public sector experience which has proved invaluable for establishing joint ventures with public bodies, local authorities and NHS Trusts. David has been at the forefront of the development and operations of numerous elderly living communities throughout his career working alongside all leading UK retirement living specialists as National Head of Residential Development at Savills Plc.


Ashley Shaffer

Associate Director Corporate Finance

Ashley provides accurate and live reporting on financial and operating metrics, ensuring developments are delivered on-time, in line with expected costs and maximum value is extracted from each project, driving performance by ensuring all stakeholders have clear financial and operational KPIs. Ashley joined the group from HSBC where he worked in the M&A advisory group.


Vishnu Patel

Group Finance Director

Vishnu leads the finance teams with a focus on operational efficiency – putting in place systems and processes to ensure that the group is ready for its next stage of growth. Prior to joining the group Vishnu worked at Grant Thornton for clients such as Sports Direct and Bauer Media before moving to FTI Consulting and Harbour Hotels Group, putting in place teams and systems enabling growth of c.20% year on year.


Claire McKenna

Regulation & Compliance Director

Claire ensures effective governance that delivers aims for tenants in an effective and accountable manner. She ensures the group complies with governing documents and all regulatory requirements, leading the risk management and internal controls assurance framework. Previously, Claire was Director of Governance and Company Secretary for Sovereign Housing Association.


Sahina Jada

Group Solicitor

Sahina is General Counsel and provides legal support across the life cycle of AHH projects. She has significant experience advising on major development and infrastructure-led regeneration projects; a £450m mixed-use development, and a £100m affordable housing scheme, both in London, among others. Prior, Sahina worked at Clyde & Co and Eversheds Sutherland.


Sonia Minchington

Managing Director, AHC

Sonia manages our relationship with Homes England and the Regulator of Social Housing. She drives the financial performance of AHC, the registered provider of social housing within the group, with a focus on productivity, reporting, and governance.
Sonia is a qualified accountant with 17 years PLC experience and 6 years in the regulated housing sector.


Simon Hammond

Land Director

Simon focuses on the acquisition of new sites, and negotiation of independent contracts with NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, and government bodies. Simon has 25 years’ experience across retirement, residential and commercial property, prior to joining AHH, Simon was a director of Lloyds Property Group.

Grace Robinson

Investor Relations Manager

Grace manages relationships with investors and is responsible for shareholder reporting, compliance monitoring and reporting, corporate governance and ESG reporting and statutory and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining the group Grace was a Royal Navy warfare specialist working internationally with NATO forces and latterly high profile clients on personal and maritime security operations.


Kevin Ladner

Assets & Facilities Director

Kevin ensures all existing and future developments achieve defined standards, personally monitoring the delivery and inception of each development into the portfolio. Prior to joining the group Kevin was Facilities and Project Manager at BAE and BH-Live. A 30-year career in the MoD provided the opportunity to manage high value projects within extreme environments at home and overseas.


Laura Warwick

Community Director

Laura Leads hospitality, lifestyle and partnership services and oversees community initiatives, activities and events, volunteering, and community outreach. Previously Laura led the delivery of hospitality services for the prestigious Cunard and P&O Cruises brands and joined Platinum Skies in 2021 from a senior management role within McCarthy Stone.


Grant Read

Operations Director

Grant oversees the delivery of operational excellence within Platinum Skies. He is a seasoned and successful multi-site operator having been the Operations Director for 10+ years at Nando's Ltd, where he had complete accountability for the southern region, managing a turnover of c.£30m net and the leadership of a 600+ team. Prior to this, Grant held senior operational management roles within other well-established F&B and Leisure enterprises.


Mikkel Togsverd

Managing Director, Care

Mikkel is responsible for delivering high quality services and care for our customers. Mikkel has been working in health and social care for the past 30 years and has spent time in almost every conceivable role. For the past 12 years he has worked at director level for a variety of providers including the Affinity Trust, Housing and Care 21.


Gerry Peyton

Head of People

Gerry leads our People Platform and ensures that we have effective people management and policies across AHH.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and he has over 25 years senior people management experience, especially in regulated, not for profit and social development organisations in the UK and internationally.


Gerald Schlagman

Relationship Director

Gerald is responsible for establishing, managing, and growing relationships with investors across the AHH Investment Management Division.

Following the successful acquisition of his ClearView Family Wealth business, in which he worked with numerous single-family offices around the world, Gerald has most recently worked directly with pensions fund investment committees in helping them achieve their mandates and has over 12 years’ experience in working with private and institutional investors; specialising in Asset, Investment and Wealth Management sectors.


Jonathan Daniels

Relationship Director

Jonathan is responsible for generating, growing, and managing relationships with investors within the AHH Investment Management Division.

Prior to joining AHH, Jonathan held various roles in the financial sector. He has extensive experience in Business Development with institutional and private investors, following many years working for financial behemoths. An expert, with over 18 years of experience within Capital Markets at Barclays Capital and EnTrust Capital (a Fund of Hedge Funds), Jonathan moved into Private Wealth Management in 2014.


Stephen Humphries

Land Buyer

With over 25 years’ experience within the property sector, Stephen provides a wealth of data & information to the organisation with his strong eye for detail.

Stephen is also key for sourcing & managing land opportunities, provides detailed research & analysis for site appraisals and is the owner of the company’s extensive in-house Comparable Databases & reporting systems. He is also the primary user of the Demographic & Analytical Software within the organisation.
